Solo Piano wins Belmont feature
NEW YORK (AP) Solo Piano, ridden by Ramon Dominguez, set a very slow pace and held off Forest Trail by 1 1/2 lengths Wednesday in the $46,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park.
The 4-year-old trained by Bobby Frankel, ran the 1 1-16 miles in 1:43.87 on the firm course.
Solo Piano, now 2-for-7, paid $7.90, $3.80 and $3.20. Forest Trail returned $5.20 and $3.60. Bella Attrice paid $4.20.
